Interview Phone Call

As some of you know I’ve been bitching about my job ever since I started this blog. Well, at 9am this morning I received a phone call for an employment interview. What a perfect way to start the morning. I know that it is just an interview and not a confirmed job offer but at least it’s an opportunity.

The best thing about the interview is that the company is one of my biggest accounts in the bank. I can just imagine my bosses face if I told her that I’m leaving to go to them. Anyway, I will only be able to tell her that should all go well this evening when I meet up with the prospective employer.

Even if I don’t get the job at least I am starting to get interviews again. There have been at least 4 companies that have asked for my CV and all of them say that they are interested to meet with me but to date this is the first call I have received. Hopefully this first one is an indication of things to come. If I don’t get this job and no other company calls me, I guess I’m just destined to be a Banker.

ps: Now I need to get a haircut during lunch hour, my hair is a mess and the colour is now uneven since its grown (yes, I do colour my hair).
