Development
Its midnight, i'm in Meritus Mandarin Hotel on Orchard Road in Singapore, I'm alone in my hotel room and I am bored. Nevertheless, I dont know what to post. So i'm just going to type down whatever comes to my head.
Today, I got to see why Singapore is a 'more' developed country than Malaysia. Everything from the public transport system to the way people cross the street showed me this. Does it mean they are better than Malaysian's? Maybe not.
Did I have more fun at drinking free wine at the product launch than I would have in Malaysia? Probably Not. (any free alchohol is good but when no one is smoking it just doesn't seem complete as it made me feel uncomfortable smoking)
Would I want to migrate here? Definitely not.
So here's the question, should being 'more' developed be an aspiration for undeveloped and 'less' developed countries??
